Named to 2009-10 All-ACC Academic Honor Roll...earned 2009-10 Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement. AS A FRESHMAN
Walked on to the team and became a member of the travel squad, consistently dropping time and scoring points for BC in distance freestyle events...went to ACC Championships in Atlanta, Georgia where he attained personal records in the 200 and 1650 freestyle events. BEFORE BC
Joe graduated from Princeton High School before attending Boston College...he was elected Captain of the Little Tigers' Swim Team for his Senior season and helped set the Colonial Valley Conference's 400 Freestyle Relay Record...that year he earned the Spirit Award having previously been named Most Valuable Swimmer as a Junior and Rookie of the Year as a Freshman...in 2006 he made the Trenton Times First Team for the 200 freestyle...Joe completed his last year of eligibility with the Cranbury Catfish. Joe is a history major in the College of Arts and Sciences. He is the son of Joe and Suzanne (BC '81) and the brother of Madeline (Princeton '09), Gregory and Victoria.
