Alex Sobers

Sobers begins his first season on Stephens' staff at BC in 2020-21. A former Olypian, Sobers competed at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro for Barbados in the 400m freestyle.
Nationally, Sobers is a two-time Pan-American Games Finals B champion in the 200m and 400m freestyle, respectively. He is also the national record holder in each of those two events.
At the collegiate level, Sobers was a six-time Division II All-American, while competing at Emmanuel College. In 2019, he won the 500 yards at the NCAA Division II national championship and finished second in the 200 yards. He helped the Saints to four consecutive conference championships.
