Attended Marmion Academy in Aurora, IL...Won numerous state championships and other awards pre- high school, including two relays that finished top 16 in the country... At Marmion, had state qualifying times three out of four years and swam at the State meet once...Winner of the Ben Graffagna Ideal Teammate award junior and senior years...Member of the NHS, Illinois State Scholar, and a National Merit Commended student....Currently coaches the Silver 1 team for the Academy Bullets.

Brian is from Geneva, IL. He is the son of Scott McMeans and Nancy Hooper, and has one 21 year old sister, Kelly, who attends Waubonsee Community College.
