Named to 2009-10 All-ACC Academic Honor Roll...earned 2009-10 Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement. BEFORE BC>
Attended Saint Charles Preparatory School in Columbus, Ohio...Freshman of the Year...Four-Year Letterwinner...Team Captain and MVP during senior season...All-Central Catholic League, All-District, All-Ohio and five-time All-American in the 200 Medley Relay, 200 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay and 100 backstroke...High school team finished as Ohio state runner up in both his junior and senior seasons. Senior year at the State Meet placed fifth in the 200 Medley Relay, second in the 400 Free Relay, eighth in the 50 Free, and 17th in the 100 Back.

Andrew is from Westerville, Ohio. He is the son of Mark and Gail Brown. Achievements include National Merit Commended Scholar, Anson Chan Memorial Latin Award Winner, OSU-Honda Partnership Math Medal Award, Agonis Club Scholar Athlete Award Winner. He has one brother Matthew (14) who is a freshman at Saint Charles Prep and also a swimmer.
