Former Colby skier Craig Marshall was hired as the new head coach of the Boston College skiing team in October 2018.

Marshall is currently the Executive Director of Sales and Marketing for the World Pro Ski Tour in Portland, Maine. He led the launch of the professional alpine tour in the United States, with plans for growth internationally. Marshall oversees all aspects of sponsorship, including leads, proposals, execution, and managing contractors. He also runs the tour's social media accounts and website to attract athletes, spectators, and sponsors.

"Previous coaches have produced incredible growth in the program and I can't wait to continue their legacy. In my mind, Boston College athletics have always meant excellence and I can't wait to join that pursuit."

Marshall graduated from Colby in 2015 and was a two-time NCAA national qualifier for the ski team. He was the squad's Rookie of the Year in 2012, team MVP in 2014 and 2015, and served as captain as a senior. Marshall was also the captain of the Colby golf team and the senior president of the college's debate society.
