Eagles Wrap Up Competition at BU Winter Open

BOSTON - Boston College Swim and Dive wrapped up their regular season with the final day of the BU Winter Open.
Andrew Rucker, Valerio Bonuglia, Abel Black, and Bryan Zapata all competed in the morning. Rucker came in second in the 100 butterfly, while Bonuglia was five spots behind Rucker in the 100 fly, coming in seventh. Zapata earned sixth in the 100 backstroke while Black was eighth, just .43 seconds behind.Â
In the evening session, the four competed in the men's 200 free relay, finishing third with a time of 1:24.97. Black was second in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:48.76. Zapata came in fourth in the same race, two seconds behind Black. Rucker was fifth in the 200 fly with a time of 1:50.89. Â
