Four Eagles Win Gold at 2026 Winter Olympics

MILAN — Four members of the Boston College women's hockey program captured gold medals with the United States at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games after a 2–1 overtime victory against Canada.
Alumnae Cayla Barnes '23, Hannah Bilka '23, Alex Carpenter '16 and Megan Keller '19 represented Boston College in Milan. Keller scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lift Team USA to its first Olympic gold medal since 2018.
Barnes earned her third career Olympic medal after previously winning gold in 2018 and silver in 2022. Carpenter also secured her third Olympic medal, adding gold in 2026 to her silver medals from 2014 and 2022. Keller collected her third career Olympic medal as well, previously earning gold in 2018 and silver in 2022.
Bilka competed in her first Olympic Games, capturing her first career Olympic medal.
With this year's class of Olympians, the Boston College women's hockey program has now featured nine players who have combined for 17 Olympic medals: Kelli Stack '11 (2010, 2014), Molly Schaus '11 (2010, 2014), Emily Pfalzer '15 (2018), Haley Skarupa '16 (2018), Kali Flanagan '19 (2018), Keller (2018, 2022, 2026), Carpenter (2014, 2022, 2026), Barnes (2018, 2022, 2026) and Bilka (2026).
