
Four Former Eagles Named to U.S. Women’s Olympic Hockey Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Four former Boston College women's hockey players, Cayla Barnes, Hannah Bilka, Megan Keller and Alex Carpenter, were named to the United States Olympic Women's Ice Hockey Team for the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, as announced Friday morning by USA Hockey.
Barnes, who plays professionally for the Seattle Torrent, has represented Team USA at the 2018 and 2022 Olympic Games. She has also competed in multiple IIHF Women's World Championships during her international career.
Bilka, also a member of the Seattle Torrent, earns her first Olympic selection. She has represented the United States at the IIHF Women's World Championships and continues to be a regular contributor at the international level.
Keller, who plays professionally for the Boston Fleet, returns to the Olympic stage after competing at the 2018 and 2022 Games. A two-time Olympic silver medalist, she has served in leadership roles for Team USA at world championship competition.
Carpenter, a forward with the Seattle Torrent, will compete in her third Olympic Games. She helped Team USA win gold at the 2018 Olympics and has been a regular member of the national team since 2015.
The United States will open Olympic competition against Czechia on Feb. 5 at 4:40 p.m. local (10:40 a.m. ET) in preliminary round play at Milano Rho Ice Hockey Arena.
