
Ava Thomas Named Hockey East Player of the Week

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Freshman forward Ava Thomas was named the Hockey East Player of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday.
Thomas recorded seven points in two games against Providence and Harvard, totaling three goals and four assists. She led all skaters in scoring and finished the weekend with 18 shots on goal and a plus-five rating.
Her seven points accounted for nearly one-third of Boston College's total offense over the two contests.
Boston College returns to action Tuesday against Northeastern Huskies in the Beanpot consolation game at TD Garden. Puck drop is set for 4:30 p.m.
