Field Hockey Announces 2025 Schedule

The Eagles play six games on home turf
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Head field hockey coach Kelly Doton announced the Eagles' 2025 schedule on Wednesday. The 16-game slate, which features seven games against teams that made the 2024 NCAA Tournament, includes six home games to be played on the Newton campus.

Prior to the season officially getting underway, the Eagles will play two scrimmages, hosting UMass Lowell on Aug. 15 before traveling down the road to Boston University on Aug. 21.

The season officially begins on Aug. 29 with a trip to Maine to take on the Black Bears. BC will face Indiana the following day at Maine's Field Hockey Complex. The following weekend sees the Eagles travel to Durham, North Carolina for the Big Ten / ACC Challenge, squaring off against Maryland (Sept. 5) and Northwestern (Sept. 7).

Boston College officially opens its home schedule on Sept. 12 with a matchup against UMass. The Eagles head back on the road for three-straight away games, first taking on local foe Boston University on Sept. 14.

ACC play gets underway on Sept. 19 as the Eagles travel down to Virginia for a tilt with the Cavaliers. Two days later, BC takes on Wake Forest in Winston-Salem.

The Eagles return to the Newton Field Hockey Complex on Sept. 28 for a meeting with North Carolina. Boston College goes back on the road for the final time in the regular season with three-straight away games, first taking on Northeastern on Oct. 5. The following weekend sees the Eagles travel across the country to face California (Oct. 10) and Stanford (Oct. 12).

BC closes out the regular season with four-straight home games, with Duke (Oct. 17), New Hampshire (Oct. 19), Syracuse (Oct. 24) and Syracuse (Oct. 26) all making trips to Newton.

The ACC Tournament gets underway on Nov. 4 and runs through Nov. 7 with the entire tournament held at Louisville.
