
Eagles Well Represented on Team USA

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. A total of nine Boston College women's lacrosse players (current & alumni) will represent Team USA in the Pan-American Lacrosse Association Women's Championship and The World Games 2025 in China in sixes.
Led by Schiller Family Head Coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein, along with Director of Operations Jen Kent, the staff selected 22 players. The roster features players who have won a combined 15 World Lacrosse titles and six Tewaaraton awards.
This marks the first time any of the U.S. national teams will participate in a PALA continental qualifier. The eight-team championship features Argentina, Canada, Haudenosaunee, Jamaica, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico and the United States at the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex from June26-30. The top four finishers will earn spots in the Division I bracket of the 2026 World Lacrosse Women's Championship in Japan with the next three finishers qualifying for the Division II bracket.

The World Games, a quadrennial Olympic-style event, utilizes the sixes discipline of the sport, a fast-paced, small-sided version of lacrosse that includes just six players for each team on the field at a time, resulting in smaller roster sizes than the traditional field version of the game.
