Eagles Earn No. 2 Seed in NCAA Tournament

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College lacrosse enters the 2025 NCAA Tournament as the No. 2 seed, as the bracket was revealed on Sunday evening on ESPNU.Â
The Eagles will have a first-round bye, where they will face the winner of Loyola Maryland and Stony Brook on Sunday at 12 p.m. in Alumni Stadium.Â
Loyola and Stony Brook will face each other on Friday at 4 p.m. in the opening round game in Alumni Stadium.Â
Boston College is a combined 7-2 against both opponents, with the Eagles capturing a 21-7 victory over the Greyhounds in the season opener.Â
BC starts its journey to a possible eighth straight semifinals and championship appearance. The Eagles have won 14 straight games in the NCAA Tournament when hosting.Â
The Eagles are 17-2 and boast a 7-0 mark at home this season.Â
