Men's Tennis Sweeps Bentley 7-0

WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The Eagles (5-13, 0-12) hosted Bentley (0-8, 0-6) Tuesday afternoon in Weymouth, sweeping the Falcons 7-0.
All three Eagles doubles recorded victories to earn Boston College the point headed into singles play. No. 1 doubles Liam O'Leary and Caleb Saltz recorded a 6-2 victory, No. 2 singles Andrew Ilie and Jake Vassel and Aidan Pack and Matthew Overvelde both recorded 6-4 wins.
Andrew Ilie recorded his second win of the day in no.1 singles, 6-3, 6-2. Jake Vassel also earned his second victory of the day in no.2 singles, 6-1, 6-0. Mai Gao went 6-0, 6-0 in no.3 singles to secure his first victory of the day. Matthew Overvelde tallied his second win as he went 6-2, 6-0 in no.4. Connor Mcdonald (6-2, 6-1) and Lukas Rais (6-1, 6-2) both recorded their first victories of the afternoon as they closed out no.5 and no.6 singles spots.
