Track & Field Earns All-ACC Academic Team Honors

21 Eagles land on the 2025 Indoor Track & Field All-ACC Academic Teams
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the 2025 Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field All-Academic teams on Tuesday morning. The Eagles had 21 honorees, 13 from the Women's team and eight from the Men's team.Â
In order to be selected to the All-ACC Academic Teams, the athletes must have a 3.0 grade point average for the fall semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during their academic career. The student-athletes must also have competed in either the ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships or the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.
The Boston College Women's Track & Field team had 13 athletes named to the All-ACC Academic team. Nine of the 13 athletes earned a grade point average of 3.3 or higher, while seven of the 13 had a 3.5 or higher.Â
Yasmine Abbes led the way in the classroom for the Eagles, earning a Fall semester grade point average of 4.0.Â
Abbes, a native of Nijmegen, Netherlands, is currently pursuing her Masters in Sports Administration. The grad student participated at the 2025 ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships, where she finished 36th overall in the Women's 3000m with a time of 9:30.57.
The Boston College Men's Track & Field team had eight athletes named to the All-ACC Academic team. Of the eight athletes honored, seven earned a grade point average of 3.3 or higher, while five of the eight had a 3.5 or higher.Â
Max McQuide led the way in the classroom for the Eagles, earning a Fall semester grade point average of 3.934.Â
McQuide, a native of Elm Grove, Wisc., is currently pursuing his degree in Management. The senior participated at the 2025 ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships, where he was part of the Men's 4x400m and the DMR relay teams that earned school records. McQuide also ran in the 400m prelims, where he placed 10th overall.Â
