Track & Field Announces 2025 Outdoor Schedule

The Eagles will open the 2025 outdoor season the the Raleigh Relays on March 27-29
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College Men's and Women's Track & Field team have announced their 2025 outdoor schedule on Thursday morning.
The Eagles will begin the outdoor track & field season on March 27-29 at the Raleigh Relays, hosted by NC State University. Boston College will be joined by some of the top teams and runners from across the country.
BC will then travel to California for the Stanford Invitational the weekend of April 4-5. The Eagles will also be competing at the UConn Dogfight on April 5th in Storrs, Conn.
The season will continue with three meets over the weekend of April 17-19. BC will take part in the Wake Forest Invitational on April 17-18 and the Virginia Challenge on April 18-19, while also having select runners at the MIT Sean Collier Invitational which will take place April 18-19. Â
The Eagles will wrap up regular season competition with the Penn Relays on April 24-26, the Jay Carisella Invite on May 3, and the Duke Twilight meet on May 4.Â
ACC Championships will be held in Winston Salem, N.C. over the span of May 15-17, hosted by Wake Forest at Kenter Stadium.Â
BC will look to earn qualifications to the NCAA East Regionals, which will be held May 28-31 at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla.Â
The NCAA DI Outdoor Track & Field Championships will commence on June 11-14 at historic Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon in Eugene, Ore.Â
The Eagles are coming of a 2024 outdoor season where they had 18 athletes compete at ACC's and six athletes at NCAA East Regionals. Steven Jackson (Men's Mile) and Emma Tavella (Women's Steeplechase) represented Boston College on the biggest stage at the 2024 NCAA DI Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Tavella earned Second Team All-American honors for her 11th place finish in the finals, while Jackson finished 20th overall in the Men's Mile prelims.Â
