Gabe Perreault Signs Entry-Level Contract with New York Rangers

Perreault had team-high 32 assists in 2024-25
NEW YORK – Boston College sophomore forward Gabe Perreault has signed a three-year entry-level deal with the National Hockey League's (NHL) New York Rangers, as announced by the organization on Monday evening.

Perreault was selected 23rd overall by the Rangers in the 2023 NHL Draft.
"Gabe was a key contributor to the success of the Boston College hockey team over the past two seasons," said Schiller Family Head Coach Greg Brown. "His effort, skill, and passion had a great impact on the team's success. We wish him all the best as he begins his professional career."

In 2024-25, Perreault finished with 48 points on 16 goals and 32 assists in 37 games. He was selected as a Hockey East First Team All-Star after finishing fourth in the league in points (31) and second in assists (22).

Over the course of his two-year career with the Eagles, Perreault skated in 73 games, finishing with 108 points on 35 goals and 73 assists. As a freshman, Perreault tallied 41 assists, the third most-ever by a BC freshman, along with 60 points, tied for fourth-most among freshmen in program history. Perreault was named a Second Team All-American during his first season with BC.

Perreault won back-to-back gold medals with the United States at the 2024 and 2025 IIHF World Junior Championships, finishing in second in scoring at the 2025 tournament with 10 points on three points and seven assists.
