WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The Eagles (4-11, 0-10) hosted Stanford (16-5, 7-3) Sunday afternoon for the Eagles' senior day, dropping the match 4-0.
The Cardinals recorded two victories across doubles to earn the point before heading into singles play. Stanford recorded three singles victories to earn 4 points, ending the game. Some Eagles had unfinished matches due to the clinch rule. Matthew Overvelde recorded a 6-3 victory in his first set, before the No. 5 singles match went unfinished.
The Eagles closed the afternoon celebrating four seniors for their senior day match: Andrew Ilie, Anesh Jayasundera, Connor McDonald and Jake Vassel.
