Clark Named ACC Offensive Player of the Week for Second Time

CHARLOTTE - Boston College lacrosse senior attacker Rachel Clark was named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week, as the league announced its players of the week.

It's the second weekly award of the season for Clark, and the second for the Eagles this season.

Clark helped the Eagles go 2-0 with wins over UAlbanay (20-4) and Louisville (18-5). The Devon, Pa. native finished with 11 goals and four assists for 15 points.

She highlighted her week with a season and career-high nine points against the Cardinals on Saturday, registering six goals and three assists. Clark totaled five goals and one point for six points against the Great Danes.

The attacker leads the country with 60 points, 47 goals and is first in the ACC averaging six points per game, which is also good for fifth in the nation. Clark's 4.7 goals per game is first in the conference and fourth in the nation.

She heads into today's 5 p.m. contest against Brown first among active leaders with 252 goals and third with 312 points.
