Eagles Maintain Sixth Place at Bandon Dunes

As a team, BC improved by eight strokes; Jack Pogorelc tied for 10th place
BANDON, Ore. -- Boston College improved its team score by eight strokes during Monday's second round at the Bandon Dunes Championship. The Eagles registered a second-day score of 295, giving them a 36-hole total of 598 - good for sixth place.
Jack Pogorelc continues to lead the way for BC, sitting in a tie for 10th place (73-73=146). Pogorelc fired a 2-over 73 on Monday, putting him at 4-over for the tournament. He made three birdies during Monday's round, giving him seven total.
BC's low round of the tournament was registered by Markus Lam, with a 1-over 72 on Monday. He improved by six shots over the first round and now sits in a tie for 25th place (78-72=150). Brian Xu is tied for 34th place (78-74=152). He fired his best round on Monday - a 2-over 74. Ben Hong is also tied for 34th place (74-78=152).
Christian Emmerich is in 53rd (80-76=156) place heading into Tuesday's final round. Tommy Mangan, competing as an individual, sits in a tie for 21st place. After an opening day 73, Mangan posted a 76 on Monday.
Final round action on Tuesday begins at 11:30 a.m. ET in shotgun format, as BC will play alongside Utah Tech and begin on holes 4-6, with Mangan beginning on 18.
