Swimming & Diving Completes Regular Season at BU Winter Open

BOSTON, Mass. – Boston College Swimming & Diving closed out its regular season by competing at the BU Winter Open over the weekend of Feb. 7 and 8.Â
The Eagles competed at the BU Winter Open at the BU FitRec Competition Pool on Friday, Feb. 7 and Saturday, Feb. 8 on the campus of Boston University. BC compiled two first place finishes in diving competitions, along with multiple personal-best and season-best times in swimming events.Â

- Fletcher Bautz took fourth place in the Men's 200 yd Freestyle, finishing with a time of 1:39.86.
- William McKinney earned third place in the Men's 100 yd Backstroke with a time of 49.20.
- Lucius Yu-Kisselbach swam to a time of 15:59.15 in the Men's 1650 yd Freestyle, leading to a second place finish.Â
- Garrett Nelson earned fourth place in the Men's 1650 yd Freestyle, with a time of 16:00.28.
- Men's 200 yd Free Relay of Valerio Bonuglia, Andrew Rucker, Noah Peters, and Fletcher Bautz earned second place with a time 1:24.39.
- Bryan Zapata touched the wall at 1:49.65 to finish third overall in the Men's 200 yd Backstroke.
