
Five Eagles Named ILWomen.com Preseason All-American

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College lacrosse led the way with five selections to the 2025 Nike Lacrosse Preseason Women's DI All-American Team, as announced by the publication on Monday.Â
Three Eagles - Shea Baker, Rachel Clark and Mckenna Davis were named to the first team, while Emma LoPinto and Shea Dolce made the all-second team.Â
Clark is coming off a solid first year with the Eagles, where she totaled a career-high 101 points thanks to 78 goals and 23 assists. She was a consensus All-American and first-team All-ACC. Â The attacker is third among active players with 257 points heading into the season.Â
Baker heads into the season as the team captain and was the U20 U.S. team captain. She scored a career-high nine goals and totaled 13 caused turnovers, 24 draw controls and 17 ground balls. She caused two turnovers with one ground ball in the ACC title win against Syracuse.Â
Davis was second on team with a career-high 95 points thanks to 26 goals and 69 assists. The All-American attacker broke the all-time assists record with 143 and counting. Davis tied a personal-high with 26 goals and tallied at least five points in 11 games and at least three points in 18 contests. The New York native enters the season seventh among active leaders with 211 points.Â
LoPinto also had a great first season at BC, finishing third on the team with 58 goals and second with 28 assists for 86 points. She was a consensus All-American and a second-team All-ACC member. LoPinto enters the season first among active players with 273 points. She was named the MVP of the U20 World Championships, helping the U20 U.S. National Team capture gold with a tournament record of 49 points thanks to 26 goals and 23 assists, surpassing Kristen Waagbo's record of 44 points set in 2003.
Dolce was a consensus All-American, first-team All-ACC and earned the ACC's Goalkeeper of the Year award. She totaled 165 saves with 46 ground balls and led the league with a personal-high .470 save percentage. Her 8.75 goals-against average was first in the conference and sixth in the nation. Dolce made nine saves in the national championship against Northwestern (5/26), including "The Save" with under a minute left to keep BC's lead before time ran out. She made the U20 U.S. National Team, starting in all seven games between the cage en route to helping the team capture gold and was named to the All-World selection team.Â
