Men's Tennis Sweeps Assumption 7-0

WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The Eagles (2-1) swept Assumption (5-2, 2-2) with a 7-0 win Friday night as they hosted the greyhounds, and earned their second victory of the week.
The Eagles started strong earning three doubles victories and earning the doubles point. Aidan Pack and Jake Vassel earned a 6-4 victory in No. 1 doubles, Liam O'Leary and Caleb Saltz recorded 6-2 in No. 2 doubles and Andrew Ilie and Matthew Overvelde earned a 6-4 victory in No. 3 doubles.
Aidan Pack, Jake Vassel and Caleb Saltz all recorded their second victories of the afternoon all winning their respective matches. Pack finished 7-6, 6-4, Vassel finished 6-2, 6-2 and Saltz finished 6-3, 6-1.
Mai Gao, Connor McDonald and Andrew Solarewicz tallied their first victories of the day in No.3, No.5 and No.6 singles. Gao recorded 6-3, 6-3, McDonald finished 6-1, 6-3 and Solarewicz finished 6-4, 6-7 and won the tiebreaker 13-11.
