Women's Tennis Drops First ACC Match to Duke

WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The Eagles (3-6, 0-1) opened ACC play as they hosted Duke (7-2, 1-0) Friday afternoon, dropping the match 4-0.

Just one pair of Eagles came out of their doubles match victorious, Alex Torre and Tola Glowacka finished 6-4 in No. 2 doubles. Duke earned the doubles point heading into singles play.

The Eagles battled hard through singles matches but unfortunately half of the matches ended unfinished as Duke recorded 4-0, earning the doubles point and three singles points.
