
Fencing Puts Together Dominant Day at Brandeis

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Boston College Fencing team competed in its final event of 2025 at the Carla Mae Richards Invitational in Brandeis.
The Eagles competed against Drew, Lawrence, Penn State, Tufts, St. John's, Haverford, and Cornell.
The men's team went 6-0, including wins over No. 8 St. John's and the program's first-ever win over No. 7 Penn State. The women's team went 6-1 with three ranked wins over No. 10 Penn State, No. 11 Cornell, and No. 15 St. John's.
The men's saber went 6-0 with a 9-0 sweep of Haverford. Foil went 5-1, with a 9-0 sweep of Drew, while epee went 4-2 over the six bouts for the men.
On the women's side, women's foil led the way with a 6-1 record, while saber and epee each went 5-2. Foil earned two 9-0 sweeps over Haverford and Lawrence, while saber and epee each earned one against Haverford.
