James Hagens Named Hockey East Co-Player of the Week

The sophomore scored his first collegiate hat trick on Friday
AMESBURY, Mass. – Sophomore forward James Hagens was named the Hockey East Co-Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Hagens scored his first collegiate hat trick this past Friday to help the Eagles pick up a 5-3 win over Notre Dame in non-conference play, bringing his season goal total to a team-high nine.
This marks the first league weekly award for Hagens this season, and the first time he's been named league player of the week in his career.
BC closes out the semester with a home-and-home series against UMass Lowell this weekend. The two teams play at the Tsongas Center on Friday at 7:15 p.m. before closing out the season series on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at Kelley Rink. Both games will be available to watch on ESPN+.
