BURLINGTON, Vt. — Boston College battled to a 0–0 tie at Vermont on Saturday afternoon, with senior goaltender Grace Campbell turning aside 37 shots through regulation and overtime before the Eagles claimed the extra Hockey East point in a 2–1 shootout.
Campbell was sharp from the opening puck drop, stopping 15 shots in the first, eight in the second, 10 in the third, and four in overtime to earn the first star. Across the ice, UVM's Ellie Simmons made 31 saves as the Catamounts finished with a 37–31 edge in shots. BC's blue line blocked 15 attempts.
After overtime, Shea Frost and Olivia Maffeo converted their shootout attempts to secure the second point for the Eagles.
