January 07, 2025 | Lacrosse
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College lacrosse is excited to announce Shea Baker and Mallory Hasselbeck as its captains for the 2025 campaign.
The tandem helped the Eagles register a 20-3 record in 2024, a second national title since 2021, and back-to-back ACC championships in 2023 and 2024.
Hasselbeck is entering her fourth year with the Eagles, where she has appeared in 33 career games with 12 goals and five assists. The first-time captain plays a pivotal role with BC, as she has been the scout team coach in preparation for upcoming opponents during the season.
Baker enters her third season with the Eagles after enjoying a career-high 13 caused turnovers, 24 draw controls and 17 ground balls in 2024. She was named the captain of the U.S. U20 Women's National Team in the summer en route to helping the U20 squad capture gold in the world championships.
Boston College begins the season on Feb. 7 inside Fish Field House at 1 p.m. against Loyola Maryland.
