
Hudson and Loveys Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

Molly Hudson and Abby Loveys earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors, while both teams earn All-Academic honors
NEW ORLEANS, La. – Molly Hudson and Abby Loveys were named to the 2024 USTFCCCA Division I Women's Cross Country All-Academic team, while both the Men's and Women's teams were honored as All-Academic teams on Thursday afternoon by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.Â
Graduate Students Molly Hudson and Abby Loveys were named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic team along with top student athletes in the sport from all across the country. In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 (or 10 percent) at the NCAA Regional Championships or as an All-American at the NCAA Championships.
Hudson made her mark on the course and in the classroom, finishing 27th at the 2024 NCAA Northeast Regionals while also earning a fall semester GPA of 3.557 in Leadership & Administration. Loveys is pursuing a graduate degree in Student Athlete Development, and achieved a 26th overall finish at the 2024 NCAA Northeast Regionals while achieving a fall semester GPA of 3.777.
The Boston College Men's and Women's teams were also honored as 2024 USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams. To qualify, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. Boston College Men's Cross Country team earned a GPA of 3.363, while the Women's team achieved a 3.324 GPA. Both teams are led by Director of Men's and Women's Track & Field and Cross Country, Pete Watson, who just completed his third Cross Country season on the Heights.Â
