The Eagles Record First Undefeated Weekend of Spring Play
WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The Eagles finished the weekend undefeated as they recorded a 6-1 win over Dartmouth Sunday morning.
Hitting the ground running, Olivia Benton and Tola Glowacka earned the Eagles first victory of the afternoon as they finished 6-0 in the No. 3 doubles spot. Dartmouth took the No. 1 doubles victory, 6-1. Natalie Eordekian and Seren Agar didn't back down as they competed for the doubles point. They recorded a 6-4 victory over Dartmouth's Elizabeth Fahrneier and Elise Wong, earning Boston College one point heading into singles matches.
Seren Agar began the victories in singles competition recording 6-4, 6-2 in No. 3 singles. Finishing close behind, Tola Glowacka recorded 6-3, 6-2 victories to earn a point in the No. 5 singles spot.
Three Eagles headed into singles super tiebreaker sets as they went 1-1 in the first two matches against the Big Green. Eordekian dropped her first match but came back with a 6-1 victory and a 6-3 win in the superset to secure a win in No. 1 singles. Close behind, Benton entered a super tiebreaker recording 7-5, 6-7 and 1-0 victories over Dartmouth in No. 2 singles. Finishing in No. 6 singles, Alex Torre dropped her first match 3-6, but fought hard to battle back, recording 6-3 and 6-2.
