
Women's Tennis Falls 4-3 to Brown in Heartbreaker

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Eagles battled hard against Brown Monday afternoon but ultimately fell 4-3 in a heartbreaker against the Bears.
Only one doubles match was won by the Eagles as Olivia Benton and Alex Torre recorded a 6-4 victory over the Brown Bears. Boston College entered singles play down 1-0.
The Eagles earned three victories in singles matches as Olivia Benton, Seren Agar and Nadia Barteck all recorded wins. Benton finished 6-4, 6-2 earning a victory in No. 2 singles, Agar finished 6-4, 6-3 taking another victory in No. 3 singles and Barteck recorded another victory in No. 6 singles finishing 7-5, 6-1.
The Eagles finished the afternoon battling as the No. 5 singles match went into a tie-breaker. BC ultimately fell 4-3 to the Bears.
