Six Eagles Earn ‘24 ITA Scholar Athlete Status

Andrew Solarewicz, Bennett Turner, Caleb Saltz, Mai Gao, Matthew Overvelde, and Shreekar Eedara represent the Eagles on this year’s ITA Division I Men’s Academic Awards.
TEMPE, ARIZ.-- Six members of the Boston College Men's Tennis team have been named to the 2024 Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division I Men's Scholar Athletes list.
Andrew Solarewicz, Bennett Turner, Caleb Saltz, Mai Gao, Matthew Overvelde, and Shreekar Eedara represent the Eagles on this year's ITA Division I Men's Academic Awards.
Per the ITA, academic requirements for selection to the ITA Scholar Athlete list are a 3.2 GPA or above and listed as an eligible athlete per the institution.
Boston College was named to the All-Academic Teams list, programs must have a team GPA of 3.2 or above, all student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form and all varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
