Eagles' 2024 campaign opens August 30th vs. Northeastern
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Boston College field hockey has announced its 2024 schedule for the upcoming fall season, with the Eagles' set to start the regular season at home against Northeastern on Friday, August 30th.
The 17-game regular season opens with two straight home games, with BC hosting cross-town rivals Northeastern (8/30) and Boston University (9/1). The Eagles then return to the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, slated to play Maryland and Northwestern over the first weekend in September, 9/6 and 9/8 with both games at Northwestern.
Boston College returns home to host Maine in the program's annual Red Bandanna Game on Friday, September 13 at 5:00 p.m. The Eagles begin conference play against Wake Forest at home, hosting the Demon Deacons over Alumni Weekend (9/20). The 2024 ACC slate features four home games and five road contests, with the Eagles set to host two of the newest ACC members, Cal and Stanford, on Oct. 11 and Oct. 13, respectively.
After BC celebrates Senior Day against Albany on Oct. 20 at 2:00 p.m., the Eagles will wrap up the regular season campaign with a three-game ACC road trip to Duke, UNC, and Syracuse.
Wake Forest will host the 2024 ACC Tournament, scheduled to take place Nov. 5-8.
