Veteran diving coach arrives at the Heights with more than two decades of experience
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Craig Dolloff will join Dara Torres' staff at Boston College as an assistant coach, working with the divers. Dolloff brings over 20 years of coaching experience to the Heights, working with a wide variety of divers, from age group and through Olympic Trials qualifiers. Â
"I am thrilled to add a diving coach with the extensive experience that Craig possesses," said Torres. "His ability to train our divers and build their skills and technique will be a tremendous asset for our program."
Prior to arriving at Boston College, Dolloff spent two decades as the head coach of the South Shore Diving Club, training divers on both the 1-meter and 3-meter springboards. Since starting at SSDC in 2004, he has coached nine NISCA High School All-Americans, six AAU National Championship Titles, and 59 AAU All-Americans. He has worked with multiple divers who competed at the 2020 and 2024 US Olympic Trials along with four USA Diving National Diving Championships finalists. Dolloff has also trained 121 Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Diving Championship Finalists and 5 MIAA State champions.Â
Dolloff is also a certified FINA International Judge and served as a Judge and Assistant Referee for the 2021 and 2022 Big 10 Men's Diving Championships. He holds experience in aerial trampoline training and sports leadership training.Â
Originally from Duxbury, Mass., Dolloff began his career in with diving at just 11 years old as a part of the original Aqua-Dux Swimming and Diving Team.
