BC Places 443 Student-Athletes on ACC Academic Honor Roll

Nine Eagles earned academic honors from the ACC for a fifth time; 63 earned a spot on the prestigious list for a fourth time
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College had 478 student-athletes represented on the 2023-24 Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll, it was announced by the conference office today.  The 478 Eagles who excelled in the classroom and in competition ranks fifth among all ACC member institutions. As a whole, the ACC recognized a record 6,187 student-athletes for scholarly achievement this past academic year.

The ACC Academic Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year. This marks the fourth consecutive year in which at least 5,500 ACC student-athletes have achieved Honor Roll status.
"We are proud to recognize a record number of student-athletes for their accomplishments in the classroom and salute them for their hard work and successes both academically and athletically," said ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips, Ph.D. "In addition to congratulating the thousands who earned ACC Academic Honor Roll distinction this year, we recognize the outstanding individuals who work diligently to support them on all of our campuses."

Duke led all schools with 620 Honor Roll student-athletes. Notre Dame (540), Virginia (538), North Carolina (537) and Boston College (478) round out the top five.
