LoPinto Earns USA Lacrosse and ACC Offensive Player of the Week Honors

CHESTNUT HILL, MASS. - Boston College lacrosse junior Emma LoPinto was named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week and USA Lacrosse Player of the Week.Â
It's the first weekly award for the attacker and the third of the season for BC, as LoPinto joins Rachel Clark and Shea Dolce who earned Player of the Week honors.Â
LoPinto is coming off her best game in a BC uniform, registering a career-high seven goals with two assists for nine points. The New York native at one point scored four straight goals in the first half to give BC a 5-3 lead after trailing by two.Â
The seven-goal performance is tied for the most in an ACC game this season, while both the nine points and seven scores are the most by a BC player.
LoPinto is third on the team in goals (33), second in assists (13), and third in points (46). The 14 points over the last two games is the most in any two-game stretch this season and has 13 scores over the previous three contests. In addition, she leads all active juniors with 233 points.Â
LoPinto and the Eagles return to action tomorrow at 2 p.m. inside Alumni Stadium.Â
