BC Women's Tennis falls to Florida State 7-0
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Eagles (6-12, 1-10 ACC) dropped the final match of the weekend trip to No. 32 Florida State (12-6, 6-3 ACC), falling 7-0 on Sunday.
Florida State would jump out quickly in the doubles matches with two victories. Vic Allen and Millie Bissett of Florida State defeated Seren Agar and Nada Dimovska 6-0, while Anna Arkadianou and Ellie Schoppe of Florida State got by Marice Aguiar and Tola Glowacka with a 6-3 score. Stephanie Sanchez and Natalie Eordekian would play Maelie Monfils and Laura Putz of Florida State to an unfinished match with a score of 5-4. The Seminoles would earn the doubles point leading into the singles matches.
Florida State would win the first five matches of singles play each in straight sets. #63 Vic Allen of Florida State defeated #106 Marice Aguiar 6-3, 6-4, while #33 Ellie Schoppe of Florida State defeated Natalie Eordekian 6-2, 6-4. Seren Agar would take Maelie Monfils of Florida State into a tiebreaker set, ultimately falling 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-8).
