Eagles Rise to No. 1 in USA Lacrosse Magazine and IWLCA Polls

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's lacrosse is No. 1 in the country in both the USA Lacrosse Magazine and IWLCA polls.Â
The Eagles garnered 23 of the 25 first-place votes in the IWLCA poll. Boston College is off to a 3-0 start following a 17-3 win over Jacksonville yesterday on the road. Notre Dame is second in both polls, while James Madison, Northwestern and Maryland round out the top five in the IWLCA poll.Â
The Eagles have outscored their opponents by a combined 52-19 score. BC returns to action on Thursday against Robert Morris at 1 p.m. in Pennsylvania.Â
