Boston College Announces Details of Pre-Game Ceremony on Nov. 8

The Voce and Gaudreau families will join BC and Maine for a pre-game ceremony this Friday; Boston College to wear special jerseys during warmups
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College men's hockey program today announced the details of a pre-game ceremony on Friday, Nov. 8 to recognize and honor former Eagles' standouts Tony Voce, Johnny Gaudreau, and Matthew Gaudreau.
The Voce and Gaudreau families will join both teams on the ice during pre-game, including a ceremonial puck drop prior to the start of the game. During warmups, Boston College players will wear jerseys that feature either Voce #13, Gaudreau #13, or Gaudreau #21.
The jerseys will be available through an online auction beginning Monday, Nov. 11 with proceeds going to the Tony Voce Foundation and, at the request of the Gaudreau family, the adaptive playground initiative at the Archbishop Damiano School in Westville, N.J.
The online auction will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11 and will run until Sunday, Nov. 17 at 9 p.m. The link for the site can be found HERE.
