
Kramer Named ACC Goalkeeper of the Year as Four Eagles Earn All-ACC Honors

Charlotte Kramer, Yani Zhong, and Eva Kluskens earn their first All-ACC selections
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Sophomore goalkeeper Charlotte Kramer has been named the 2024 ACC Goalkeeper of the Year, the conference announced on Monday afternoon. Kramer joins her teammate Yani Zhong on the All-ACC First Team, while Peyton Hale and Eva Kluskens have been named to the All-ACC Second Team.
Kramer is the first Boston College player to earn conference goalkeeper of the year honors since Jill Dedman was named Big East Goalkeeper of the Year in 2000. The Severna Park, Md. native started every game for the Eagles this season, earning 12 wins in goal while recording 59 saves and posting a .747 save percentage, the fourth-best in the conference.
Zhong had a dominant year as an anchor of BC's midfield, scoring eight goals and tallying three assists for 19 points. Her eight goals are tied for the sixth-most in the conference this season, while her 19 points are tied for the ninth-most. The Hamburg, Germany native came to Boston College for her lone season of collegiate field hockey after four years of club play.
Hale co-lead the team in goals (8) and points (21) as a key component of BC's backfield. Her 21 points are tied for seventh in the conference, while her eight goals are tied for the sixth-most. This is the third consecutive season that Hale has recorded eight or more goals and at least 20 points. Hale was a pre-season All-ACC selection.
Kluskens earns her first All-ACC nod after an outstanding season in the Eagles' midfield. The Nederweert, the Netherlands native recorded one goal and five assists, which is tied for the 11th most assists in the conference this season. Kluskens was also a pre-season All-ACC selection.
