Women's Cross Country Competes at NCAA Championship

The Eagles place 29th overall as a team at the 2024 NCAA D1 Cross Country Championship
MADISON, Wisc. – The No. 27 ranked Boston College Women's Cross Country competed at the NCAA Division 1 Cross Country Championship on Saturday morning in Madison, Wisc., placing 29th overall.Â
Abby Loveys was the top finisher on the day for the Eagles, finishing 143rd and completing the six-kilometer course with a time of 20:46.6.
Aoife Dunne and Roshni Singh crossed the finish line three seconds apart, placing 173rd and 181st respectively. Dunne earned a time of 20:58.1, while Singh finished the race with a time of 21:01.9.Â
Freshman Abby Lewis completed her first NCAA Cross Country Championship meet with a time of 21:05.5, placing 187th overall. Yasmine Abbes was the final scorer for the Eagles on the day, earning 211th with a time of 21:16.6.Â
Molly Hudson (21:30.5) crossed the line in 229th and Lily Flynn (21:37.7) placed 236th to round out the group of Eagles who competed in the championship meet.Â
As a team, Boston College placed 29th overall with 717 points. BYU took home the Women's team national championship, while Doris Lemngole of Alabama earned the Women's individual championship.
