Men's Cross Country Places 10th at Northeast Regional

Eagles earn highest regional placement since 2006.
HOPKINTON, N.H. — Boston College Men's Cross Country placed 10th overall at the 2024 NCAA Northeast Regional in Hopkinton, N.H. on Friday morning at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds Cross Country Course.
The Eagles placed top-ten for the first time since 2006, where they also placed 10th overall at the Regional Championships
Theodor Schucht finished 26th overall to lead the Eagles, clocking a time of 30:38.36 in the Men's ten-kilometer course.Â
Edward Sullivan completed the course with a time of 31:04.79, placing him 46th overall. Steven Jackson (31:12.22) crossed the line in 54th, while Will Purnell (31:16.07) finished 58th.Â
Jack Nauman and Peter Fox rounded out the top-five scorers for the Eagles on the day. Nauman placed 113th with a time of 32:08.48, while Fox completed the course with a time of 32:27.90 which was good for 135th.Â
Aidan Brancaccio was the final Eagle to cross the finish line, earning 160th place with a time of 32:52.52.Â
As a team, Boston College placed 10th overall, compiling 296 points. Syracuse (75) won the regional team title, followed by Harvard (97), Cornell (106), Iona (108), and Yale (183) to round out the top-five.
