BC prepares to host No. 3 Clarkson for two games.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's hockey team gets set for two games against No. 3 Clarkson on Saturday, Oct. 26 and Sunday, Oct. 27.Â
Puck drop is scheduled for 6 p.m., both matches will stream on ESPN+.Â

- Â Boston College and Clarkson will meet for two games starting this Saturday.Â
- Last season the Golden Knights swept the Eagles in the two-game series to open the 2023-24 season.Â
- The Eagles are coming off a victory against conference opponent Merrimack. BC had a come-from-behind victory with Jade Arnone scoring the game-winning goal in the third period. Â
- Abby Newhook is one goal away from 50 career goals. Newhook also needs eight points to reach 100 points.Â
- Co-Captain Gaby Roy currently holds a two-game power-play goal streak. Of the three power-play goals BC has, Roy scored two of them.Â
SCOUTING CLARKSON
- Clarkson currently holds a record of 6-0 through the season's first three weeks.
- The Golden Knights have scored 41 times while only allowing their opponents to score three times. Â
- Clarkson just swept a series against Robert Morris, in the two games the Golden Knights scored seven goals while shutting out RMU. Â
- Jenna Goodwin leads the Golden Knights in goals, with five respectively. Goodwin has scored in all but one game but has recorded a point in every game of the season so far. Â
- Holly Gruber and Julia Minotti have split the time between the pipes for Clarkson, Gruber has a save percentage of .969 and a goals-allowed average of .335 and Minotti has a save percentage of .939 and a goals-allowed average of .667. Both of them respectively have earned two shutouts.Â
POWER-PLAY SUCCESSÂ
- • Captain Gaby Roy has found recent success on the power play, scoring two out of the three BC power-play goals.Â
- • Roy currently ranks eighth in the country in power-play goals and second in the conference.Â
