Eagles Fall at Home to Providence

CHESTNUT HILL. – The Boston College Eagles and the Providence Friars battled it out on Saturday. The Eagles fell short against the Friars and could not pull off the victory.

Providence struck first, with the Friars scoring 18 minutes into the first period. Heading into the second, the score stayed 1-0 Providence. Providence put another away at the eight-minute mark, giving them a two-goal lead. The Eagles had a power play opportunity 13 minutes into the second period, where Molly Jordan was able to score. The Friars added another goal late in the third period to seal the victory.
