BC Places 10th at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown

BOSTON, Mass. — Boston College women's cross country competed at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown this afternoon at Franklin Park.

BC's top four runners to cross the finish line were freshmen. Anna Robinson was the first Eagle to cross the finish line, placing 44th overall. Robinson covered the five-kilometer course in a time of 18:02.3.

Ellie Buckley was 54th, clocking a time of 18:14.6. Ella Fadil registered a time of 18:32.5, good for 77th place, while Sofia Tavella was 88th in a time of 18:43.5.

Junior Molly FitzPatrick (19:06.8, 105th) was BC's fifth scorer, while Caroline Fleming (20:57.5, 139th) rounded out the Eagles' finishers. The spread between BC's 1-5 finishers was 1:04.5.

As a team, Boston College placed 10th overall, compiling 321 points. Harvard (61) won the team title, followed by Penn (103), Texas A&M (107), and Villanova (118).
