ACC Play Begins Against Notre Dame

BC is set to face-off Notre Dame on the road for the first ACC match of the season
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass- The Boston College volleyball team begins ACC play on the road against Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. on Friday, Sept. 22 at 6:30 p.m.
Boston College faced Providence, Harvard, Stonehill and Merrimack at the BC-Harvard Cohost at home over the past weekend. The Eagles defeated all teams in three sets. Senior Anna Murphy led the defense with 56 digs at the Co-host. Senior Alayna Crabtree led the Eagles offense against the Friars with 15 kills while freshman Audrey Ross had 14 kills against Harvard. Sunday's matches were led by junior Jenna Pollock and senior Katrina Jensen with eight and ten respectively. Senior setters Grace Penn and Sophia Lambros guided the offense through the action packed week with 135 assists, Penn led with 78.
Friday's match-up will be the twenty-seventh meeting all-time between the two teams since 1991. The Eagles are looking for its fifth win against the Fighting Irish. The last time the two teams met on Oct. 9, 2022, the Eagles fell in four sets.
Following the Friday match-up the Eagles remain on the road heading to Louisville, K.Y. to face-off No. 2 Louisville at 1 p.m.
