
Quartet of Eagles Named to 2024 U.S. Women’s Box Training Team

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College lacrosse players saw four players named to the 2024 U.S. Women's Box Training Team following a series of three player ID camps held from May through August.
Mckenna Davis, Andrea Reynolds, Charlotte North and Courtney Taylor will participate in three training camps this fall as it continues preparation for the 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships in Utica. N.Y.
Davis is coming off a career season after finishing second in the nation and first in the ACC in assists with 62. The New York native was second on the team with 88 points - good for fifth in the league and 19th in the nation. The All-ACC performer inreased her scoring total by 57 points from her freshman season, which was in the top 10 in scoring improvements.
Reynolds also turned in a stellar season, starting in a career-high 23 games with 10 goals and 12 assists for 23 points. Her 93 draw controls were a team and personal best, while it was the ninth most in a single season. She was one of five players on the team with at least 10 goals and 10 helpers.
North, the two-time Tewaaraton award winner, ended her career at BC second all-time in program history with 217 goals, second with 369 draw controls and fourth with 264 points. She finished the second first among active career leaders in goals, third with 433 points and ninth with 373 draw controls. North went on to win Gold at the World USA Lacrosse Championships in the summer of 2022 and wrapped up her second season with Athletes Unlimited.
Taylor was an IWLCA All-American in her lone season with the Eagles, starting in 22 games and posting 90 draw controls. She played a pivotal role as a volunteer assistant in 2023, helping BC go 19-4, capture their first ACC title and a sixth straight national semifinals appearance. The coaching staff was named the IWLCA Northeast Region Coaching Staff of the Year.
The U.S. women's box team training camps will all be held at St. Luke's Sport Center in Whitehall, Pa., on the weekends of Nov. 4-5, Dec. 2-3 and Dec. 16-17. It's the first time that World Lacrosse has hosted a women's championship in box lacrosse.
