JJ Bianchi to Represent Venezuela in 2023 Davis Cup

Bianchi and Team Venezuela start with pool play from June 19-23
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Boston College Men's Tennis player Juan Jose Bianchi has been selected to represent Venezuela in the 2023 Davis Cup, with Bianchi set to compete in the Americas Group III from June 19-24 in Asuncion, Paraguay.
On the clay surface at Club Internacional de Tenis, Bianchi and Team Venezuela will compete against fellow group members Bahamas, Bermuda, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Panama, and Paraguay in two round-robin groups, with three teams competing for promotion to the next round.
Bianchi has been a staple in both singles and doubles for Eagles in his college career, and finished as part of the No. 2 ranked doubles team in the Northeast with partner Max Motlagh this spring.
Bianchi and Team Venezuela will begin competition today, on June 19 with round-robin pool play against Bolivia, Bermuda, and Panama.
