
Eagles Travel to Raleigh for ACC Outdoor Championships

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College track & field team travels to Raleigh, N.C. from May 11-13 to compete in the ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The men's javelin will kick off Thursday's events at 11:00 a.m.
Expanded coverage of the ACC Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be streamed live each day via ACC Network Extra as follows: Thursday from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. through 9 p.m., and Saturday from 2 p.m. until the championship's conclusion at approximately 9 p.m. Steve Schlanger will be on the call, with former Duke head coach Norm Ogilvie returning on color commentary and Hailey Hunter as sideline reporter. Live results will be provided by Flash Results.
The winners of each heat will advance to the final round of their respective event on Saturday. Any remaining qualifying spots will be filled by participants with the next-best preliminary times.
No. 7 Clemson leads three ACC men's teams ranked this week among the USTFCCCA's Top 25. Florida State holds the No. 11 spot, and Louisville is No. 18. No. 19 NC State leads the ACC in this week's USTFCCCA women's rankings.
