USFCA Announces 2023 All-Region Selections

Six Eagles represented, three from each of the Men’s and Women’s Teams
Chestnut Hill, Mass – The United States Fencing Coaches Association announced the recipients of the 2023 All-Region awards on Monday morning. These awards are determined based on result and field size at each of the NCAA Regional Competitions.
Six members of the Boston College Fencing Team were selected for All-Region honors, Brian Wang, Inigo Rivera and Sanjeet Brar from the Men's team and Katarina Hone, Greta DeBack and Anisha Kundu from the Women's Team.Â
Wang was selected to Men's Foil All-Northeast Second Team while Brar and Rivera were both named to Men's Saber All-Northeast Honorable Mention. Anisha Kundu was named Women's Epee All-Northeast Honorable Mention and DeBack and Hone were named Honorable Mention for Women's Foil and Saber respectively.Â
