Jackson Wins Second Heat of Men's 1500m at Penn Relays

Jackson, Brown, and Fox each set new personal records
PHILADELPHIA – The Eagles closed out their regular season strong at the Penn Relays this week, setting five personal records en route to three heat victories altogether.
Steven Jackson led the men's side for the Eagles, claiming victory in heat two of the 1500m with a personal-best time of 3:43.39. Jackson placed fifth overall for the event. Cruz Brown finished second in heat three, also setting a new PR of 3:47.71 to earn 25th overall.
Peter Fox wrapped up day one with an 11th-place finish in the 10k run with a time of 30:37.82. Fox's new PR places him at 10th all-time on BC's 10k performance list.
Weathering heavy rain throughout the entirety of day two, the men's DMR team of Steven Jackson, Max McQuide, Spencer Pett, and Edward Tristine were the only Eagles that saw action on the men's side. The relay team placed 12th with a time of 9:56.61.
